How to prevent your smart home from being hacked?

We are in the era of smart technology.  It is least likely to find anything today that does not involve smart devices.  Starting from smartphones to smartwatches and Home Automation systems, we are literally surrounded. There is also a threat to your private information while you are using public Wi-Fi because a public Wi-Fi is more open to hackers. So, make sure not to operate any home automation application on any public Wi-Fi . Also, consider to frequently changing the passwords of the connected devices to your system (including the router).  And always keep strong ones, this makes the security of your system strong.

You may also prefer to hire a network security consultant who can guide you to make your network more secure. Also, it is always advisable to have a proper home automation security system with layers.  For example,a  fingerprint sensor to add another layer of protection.
